Astora, Land of the Sun

Painted this to take part in VaatiVidya's Unseen Lands Challenge, which was to design/illustrate any one of the numerous hidden lands in the Dark Souls series that have been mentioned but never shown. I imagined Astora to be a land frequently bathed in sunlight, centered around a huge Way of the White cathedral, and surrounded by mountains and verdant forests. Had a lot of fun with this one.
