Mercurial Arcana 1

I worked on a series of 6 creature card illustrations for a really cool spell-crafting and dice board game called Mercurial (by @hyperlixir_sg), and this is one of them! The creatures are known as Arcanas, and are ethereal lifeforms and physical manifestations of magic. They are innately drawn towards Mages, forming bonds with those who achieve feats of elemental and spellcasting prowess.

Overall art direction by the wonderful David Goh. Working on this project was insanely fun, and I'm quite happy with what I managed to come up with for the Arcanas, and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the creation of the game.
